SHS BOYS SOCCER
STATE CHAMPIONS 2013
2013 Sisters High School Boys Soccer Team. Historic. Fearless. Triumphant.
The 2013 Sisters High School Boys Soccer Team made history by capturing the program’s
first-ever state championship with a thrilling 1-0 victory over Henley in the State Final at
Liberty High School in Hillsboro on November 16, 2013. This was the culmination of a 17-
1-1 season (17-0 against 4A competition). With hundreds of Outlaw fans cheering from the
stands, the team delivered a masterful performance built on defense, discipline, and
determination. In the 76th minute, Colton Mannhalter broke through the midfield, split
two defenders, and fed Jake McAllister, who fired the game-winning shot into the left
corner of the net. The goal sealed the title and sent the Outlaws rushing the field in
celebration as the final whistle blew. Behind the leadership of Coach Rob Jensen, the
defense held Henley to just one shot on goal, anchored by standout efforts from Justin
Harrer, Keenan O’Hern, and a back line that refused to break. The victory was the
culmination of years of teamwork and commitment, and it ignited a championship era for
Outlaw soccer. Evan Rickards said, "You always want to accomplish the most with those
you love standing next to you." The 2013 team’s achievement marked a defining moment
in Sisters High School athleticsone built on heart, unity, and an unwavering belief in each
other.
